John Yeager is board certified in criminal law. He specializes in both federal and state criminal law and is a fellow of the Texas Bar Association. Mr. Yeager was admitted to the Texas Bar for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas in 1970. Throughout his 37-year career, Mr. Yeager has represented a vast array of clients in numerous situations throughout Austin and Central Texas. He understands the way the court system works, and acts as his clients' advocate, directing them and their cases to the best possible solution - whether it be a trial or a settlement. Mr. Yeager has authored numerous publications for the Advanced Criminal Law course conducted by the State Bar of Texas and is a past president of the Criminal Law and Procedure Section of the Travis County Bar Association. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers' Association, and is a charter member of the Austin Criminal Defense Lawyers' Association. Additionally, his mediation skills are recognized with his membership in the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution (SPIDR) and the Association of Attorney-Mediators.
