The Human Performance Center is a high level training center dedicated to improving athletic performance thru proven scientific training principles. It is the only facility of its kind in El Paso and surrounding area dedicated to improve athletic performance, individual fitness, and helping people obtain their physical and athletic goals. All programs are designed by Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists, which are college graduates with expertise in the area of athletic performance. The difference between HPC and most gyms is that we understand that there is more that goes into training an athlete than bench press and arm curls. Every program that HPC offers contains only the sport specific exercises that will transfer to better play. Sports performance training has become a science. Gone are the days where every athlete is trained like a football player. The results of a general training program that covers all sports can be detrimental to the performance and health of an athlete. For example, a baseball player that follows a football player's shoulder workout may find themselves with shoulder impingements or bursitis. Every sport has unique athletic requirements and every training program should reflect those athletic needs.
SPORTS SPECIFIC PROGRAMS
The Human Performance Center (HPC) is a strength and conditioning facility that specializes in training athletes from the middle school to the professional level. All training programs are individualized to meet the specific energy systems, athletic movements, muscular demands, which will allow the athlete to transfer the greatest gains to the playing environment. Each program will include gait analysis and training, injury prevention, teaching and executing of proper exercise technique, unloaded high speed training, core efficiency, agility, and balance training.
GOAL SPECIFIC PROGRAMS
This program has aided individuals in meeting and passing physical protocols for law enforcement academies such as F.B.I., DEA, ICE, CPAC, and EPPD. The program has also helped trained fitness athletes reach long term goals or reach a new personal record in running, cycling or triathlon events.
This package improves the areas of wellness in the client which are cardio-efficiency, muscular strength/endurance, flexibility and body fat. This training program has helped beginners in making physical changes in a safe and guided manner.
